About the job
• Looking for a well-connected and experienced leader to bring a well-respected African (gambling) brand to market in Tanzania with a mix of Online and Retail.
• A person with a great work ethic is required, who can build a large and winning team from scratch. Managing substantial budgets, reporting directly to the owners in Europe.
• Well-connected ideally with a solid network in media companies within Tanzania, or has previously built a network from scratch in other African countries. Must be equally comfortable working with entry-level staff, as much as government officials or gambling board officials.
• This will be a hands-on position with control of all areas of the business within Tanzania. So not just the marketing and media, but also budgeting, financial reporting, and plans for the European head office.
• Experienced within or have a great understanding of Sportsbetting and Online Casino in Tanzania. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for sports.
• The role is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A full relocation package for ex-pats will be given, in addition to an apartment, car & driver, healthcare, and other benefits to match the position.
